YouthNet - Empowering Youth Since 2006
Our mission is to empower youth to acquire knowledge, develop life skills and form attitudes to enable them to become self-directing, positive, productive, responsible and contributing members of society through active participation and involvement.
YouthNet is registered under the Registration of Societies Act 1860, as amended vide registration of Societies (Nagaland First Amendment) Act, 1969. It was launched on the 1st of February 2006 by a group of young Naga professionals. Since its inception, YouthNet continues to be one of the premier youth organizations in North East India that empowers young people to address education, unemployment, entrepreneurship and livelihood issues.

Our Objective:
- Foster Inclusive Development: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders—including governments, financial institutions, communities, grassroots organizations, educational institutions, corporations, philanthropists and marginalized groups—to ensure equitable access to opportunities in Education, Employment & Livelihood, Entrepreneurship and Environmental Sustainability.
- Empower Communities: Strengthen the capacities of individuals and enterprises, particularly women, youth and underrepresented groups, through skill development, knowledge, resources, mentorship and access to financial and market linkages, enabling long-term socio-economic resilience.
- Promote Sustainable Solutions: Champion eco-friendly and socially responsible innovations that drive transformative change in climate action, social equity and livelihood security, ensuring long-term impact through policy advocacy, research, and community-driven initiatives.

Northeast Leader Connect (NELC), earlier known as Young Leaders Connect, is a landmark initiative that provides a common platform for young leaders and achievers from the North-East, plan where they would like to see India vis-à-vis North East in the future, plan a roadmap, and strategize on interventions at the grassroots and policy level.
