YouthNet secured the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) in October 2023 under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), providing critical financial support to startups across Nagaland. The scheme supports startups in key areas such as proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization, enabling them to attract further investments from angel investors, venture capitalists, and commercial banks.
Beyond handholding and mentorship, YouthNet has continued to play a pivotal role in strengthening the startup ecosystem by facilitating company registrations, securing DPIIT recognition, and enabling access to early-stage capital. Through SISFS, YouthNet has invested over ₹3 crore in nearly 20 promising startups, helping lay a strong foundation for sustainable and scalable ventures in the region.
