

Entrepreneurship has seen positive growth in Nagaland with many aspiring individuals starting their own initiatives. To support this growth, YouthNet has launched the centre for “Made in Nagaland” in 2018 by the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, with an aim to provide exposure and a centralized platform for local entrepreneurs to promote their products and services within and outside of Nagaland. The Made in Nagaland Centre is located in Kohima, near Nagaland Civil Secretariat.

The Made in Nagaland Centre, the three storeyed establishment hosts more than 300 entrepreneurs whose locally produced goods and services are displayed and retailed.
The Food Hub
The Food Hub at the Made in Nagaland Centre is one of the first food court in Nagaland serves a wide variety of food, from beverages to fast food to local cuisine meal where anybody can always come shop and grab something to fill their hungry tummies from the restaurants inside.
The Food Hub also serves as a hosting ground for various events and activities such as birthday parties, programs and workshops because of the spacious, quite and peaceful atmosphere, infrastructure and location and restaurants already available for any food arrangements.
Made in Nagaland Centre E-Commerce Platform
The Made in Nagaland Centre e-commerce website is a digital marketplace dedicated to showcasing and selling authentic products crafted by local entrepreneurs, artisans, and producers from Nagaland. It serves as a bridge between the rich cultural heritage of the state and a wider audience, enabling customers from across the country and beyond to discover and purchase unique, high-quality, locally made goods. Beyond commerce, the platform supports livelihood generation by empowering small businesses and promoting sustainable, community-driven growth, while highlighting the identity, creativity, and craftsmanship of Nagaland.

In partnership with the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) and Amazon, YouthNet empowers women entrepreneurs through training in digital marketing, branding & packaging, AI fundamentals and compliance, along with hands-on support for onboarding onto platform-based commerce. YouthNet also serves as Amazon’s only facilitation and enabling partner in Nagaland.
