Nagaland Entrepreneurship Impact Foward (NEIF) 2035

The Nagaland Entrepreneurship Impact Forward (NEIF) seeks to catalyse a statewide transformation in livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development by enabling 10,000 entrepreneurs, generating 50,000 livelihoods, and facilitating economic opportunities for Nagaland’s entrepreneurs by 2035.

NEIF proposes a set of integrated interventions that bring together the state, markets, and communities in a coordinated, long-term effort. These include sector-focused interventions in honey, coffee, king chilli, crafts, and eco-tourism; while strengthening cross-cutting enablers, including credit and finance systems, renewable energy solutions, product standardization infrastructure, design residencies, market access, and logistics.

The Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland, in partnership with Made in Nagaland an initiative of YouthNet and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), has joined forces to accelerate entrepreneurship and foster a sustainable, community-driven enterprise economy. Through the North East Initiative for Entrepreneurship (NEIF), the partnership aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute towards building a vibrant and inclusive enterprise economy in Nagaland by 2035.

The initiative was formally launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland on 1st December 2025.
