YouthNet Incubation Centre (YIC) 2nd Cohort Officially Launched with 33 Innovative Start-Ups

We are thrilled to announce the official launching and orientation of YouthNet Incubation Centre Cohort 2! Congratulations to the 33 innovative startups and entrepreneurs who are part of this Cohort, ranging from various sectors such as food processing, handloom and handicrafts, tourism, agri, logistics and others.

The event was graced by Ms. Hekani Jakhalu, Hon’ble MLA & Advisor, Industries & Commerce, Director of Department of Industries & Commerce Shri A.Temjen Jamir, and Shri. Erik Azulay, Director, Alliance for Commercialization and Innovation Research (ACIR). The presence of these esteemed guests has made the occasion even more special.

Two exciting workshops were conducted on vital aspects of becoming a scalable and sustainable business and branding, taken by Shri. Erik Azulay and Shri. Sinlo Kemp, Creative Director and Brand Designer. The workshops were highly informative and interactive, and provided the participants with valuable insights and tools to take their businesses to the next level.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our special guests for sharing their insights on the importance of entrepreneurship and highlighting the various benefits and opportunities available for startups to thrive. Their presence and encouragement have been an inspiration to all of us.

The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Nuneseno Chase, Director, YouthNet, and the program was chaired by Shri. Neikepekho Shosahie, Manager, YouthNet Incubation Centre. The invocation was pronounced by Ms. Veliitalii Puro, Senior Project Associate, and the Entrepreneurs Experience was shared by Ms. Lovitoli, Founder of Lovi Twine.

YouthNet Incubation Centre (YIC) supports and nurtures innovative entrepreneurs and startups in their pursuit to become scalable and sustainable businesses. YIC offers a practical and engaging program to help entrepreneurs build business successfully. We are proud to be the first Business Incubator in the State under the Startup Nagaland Policy 2019, Department of Industries and Commerce, and also the first to launch the Startup Incubation Program for PWD (Person With Disabilities) in North East India.
