About 

The animal husbandry sector in India plays a pivotal role in the country’s economy, contributing significantly to its growth and development. Key areas within this sector, such as poultry, dairy, and piggery, are vital to economic stability and rural livelihoods. However, there is a notable lack of tailored solutions, technology, and resources specifically designed for animal husbandry. Addressing these gaps is crucial for enhancing productivity, sustainability, and resilience in this sector. The innovation prioritizing solutions in Technology Solutions Driving Innovation in Animal Husbandry and Built Environment Best Architectural Design for Animal Husbandry is welcomed.

Problem statements can be in

  • Health of the animals (dairy, poultry and piggery), Feeding, Spoilage of Milk, Animal Production, Egg Production Decline, Weight Loss, Hatching Disruption, Increased animal mortality.
  • Outdated Materials Context-specific Requirements Improper Ventilation & Insulation Humidity variation Unaffordable Livestock Housing.
  • Create digital tools for monitoring health, nutrition, and production. Implement precision agriculture for resource optimization. Introduce innovations in breeding, genetics, and disease control. Utilize AI/ML for enhanced husbandry practices and decision-making. Implement robotics and automation for labor efficiency.

The Offer

The challenge offers award money for upto 15 applicants, with maximum prize money upto INR. 15 lakhs. The Prize money varying according to the proposed solution.
