YouthNet, Nagaland received the Best Performance Award at the Placement Officers Meets organised by Quest Alliance, Bangalore, on 22nd November, 2018.
Out of 35 organisations across India, YouthNet was conferred the Best Placement Award. Since 2016, YouthNet started Accenture’s ‘Skills to Succeed’ global initiative through Quest Alliance to address the serious unemployment issue in Nagaland. This program trains job seekers on Life Skills, Retail and Hospitality Management, Digital Literacy and Work Skills.
The training wing of YouthNet, Nagaland Career and Development Centre (NCDC) and the placement cell of the organisation, Nagaland Job Centre (NJC), work in tandem to train and provide employment to any job seekers (school & college dropouts, graduates and professionals) register at NJC.
Since YouthNet’s partnership with Quest Alliance, YouthNet has given employment to over 800 youths in Nagaland and beyond.
