YouthNet and NABARD Celebrate Skill Development Success with “Sip & Crunch” Program
YouthNet, in collaboration with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), hosted a felicitation ceremony for the “Sip & Crunch” Skill Development Program at the Made in Nagaland Centre, Kohima. The program, running from January to June 2024, aimed to enhance employability and entrepreneurship among 140 local youths and women through specialized training in pickle and juice production. Ms. Nuneseno Chase, Director of YouthNet, and Smt. Tiakala Ao, Chief General Manager of NABARD, highlighted the program’s impact and encouraged trainees to embrace entrepreneurship. The event celebrated trainees’ achievements, with 18 participants launching businesses and 126 completing FSSAI registration. YouthNet’s ongoing support includes marketing, employment connections, and mentorship through its various initiatives.
