Solar Technical Engineer (1 Post):
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the solar industry, with hands-on experience in designing and installing solar energy systems. Fresher’s may also apply.
- Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and grid-tied solar systems.
- Knowledge of solar energy standards and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP Solar PV Installation Professional) are a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to conduct on-site work, including climbing ladders and working on rooftops, when needed.
- Familiarity with battery storage systems and hybrid solutions.
- Experience with data logging and remote monitoring tools.
- Project management skills and experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and Engineering: Develop and review technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics for solar energy systems to ensure compliance with local codes and company standards.
- Project Assessment: Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess solar potential, shading, and project viability.
- System Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation process, ensuring proper setup of panels, inverters, wiring, and other system components.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain system monitoring solutions to evaluate performance and ensure optimal energy production.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during or after installation, providing solutions to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely project delivery.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to customers and team members, offering technical expertise as needed.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical documentation, and project
records for internal and client use.
