Qualification:
- Degree in Science/Agriculture
Requirements:
- You have respect for rural life and are committed to building relationships at the village level
- You have a service mindset and work effectively in a team to meet the community’s needs
- You are excited to work in the field
- You are a strong verbal communicator (English, Hindi). Knowledge of Nagamese / Konyak language is a must
- You have 5 years’ work experience in agriculture, agricultural processing, agriculture supply chains
Key Responsibilities
- Drive utilization of solar energy vis-à-vis diesel/fossil fuels
- Supervise installation, operations and maintenance of village-level enterprises
- Monitor and facilitate the running of agriculture processing machines and their supply chains
- Encourage the use of solar energy in the villages
- Build strong community engagement
- Manage all local assets, relationships and employees
- Measure the impact of Hamara Grid work in the villages
Role Summary
This is a great opportunity to gain managerial and leadership expertise in development of village enterprises around solar energy, one of India’s fastest growing sectors. In this role you will gain exposure to the latest in rural supply chains and agricultural processing. You will also be instrumental in bringing economic development to the villages and measuring the impact of your work.
