Qualification:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably with a B.Ed

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of working experience in NGO’s education-related field/projects
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in English and Nagamese, with fluency in English required
  • Tech-savviness and comfort with online learning tools
  • Both male and female can apply

Roles & Responsibilities:

Classroom Facilitation and Support:

  • Facilitate sessions in classrooms, potentially implementing the entire program in some schools
  • Co-facilitate with government teachers, including conducting assessments, supporting data collection and uploading, and managing larger classrooms
  • Provide end-to-end support and empowerment to government teachers (shadowing, co-facilitating, and leading independent sessions)
  • Follow up on scheduling and completion of sessions for self and government teachers
  • Schedule and conduct classroom observations and provide feedback
  • Run through/practice sessions with school teachers and actively assist in teacher training
  • Build professional relationships with school principals, teachers, and government officials
  • Address queries from teachers and HMs related to program management, content, and curriculum
  • Ensure the program is delivered to every child in the assigned schools and grades
  • Lead support calls and circles at the district/state level to identify needs, share best practices, and celebrate milestones
Program Management:
  • Track program completion, send reminders to teachers/schools, and collate program management data for assigned schools (attendance, number of sessions completed) for reporting
  • Collect data and perform data entry at school and student levels, potentially setting up data entry mechanisms within the school system
  • Ensure timely availability of materials in all schools through coordination between Antarang staff and teachers/HMs
  • Drive WhatsApp Chat Bot adoption
  • Communicate with, support, and resolve conflicts with ARPs and AF Teams, and report progress and challenges
Program Review and Support:
  • Collect on-the-ground stories and testimonials from students, teachers, and HMs
  • Provide periodic reviews, updates, and feedback on the program, student assessments, and operations to relevant teams
  • Foster and build relationships between schools, government officials, and Antarang Foundation
  • Identify, leverage, and build support systems through SMCs, Student Unions, and Village/Community Councils
  • Enhance parent engagement through PTMs, phone calls, and dynamic interventions
  • Contextualize the program for Nagaland through on-ground research and documentation

Salary:

  • Rs. 17,000 – 18,000 per month
  • Additional travel allowance may be provided post successful clearing of training and school allocation
