The fourth edition of Young Leaders Connect with a theme ‘A Strong North-East is India’s Asset’ was held in India Habitat Centre in Delhi in the presence of many eminent achievers from the eight Northeastern states.
The fourth edition of YLC-4 saw attendance of young leaders and achievers from different fields including business, social work, politics, media, culture and academics, sports etc from NE and across the country. The conclave with six sessions discussed various topics, ranging from ‘ Misunderstood North-East (Information Vs knowledge)’, ‘How much diversity (Race, Culture & Beliefs) are we prepared to accept’, ‘Re-branding the image of the NE region’, to deliberating on “ a new economic and developmental road map’.
Young Leaders Connect seeks to develop greater awareness and understanding essentially through ‘connect’ ‘exchange” and ‘strengthen’ of issues that affect political, social and economic development of our country viz-a-viz the Northeast, from young leaders’ perspective.
YLC-1 and YLC-2 were held in Kohima, Nagaland and YLC-3 in Guwahati, Assam.
