Building on the proven success of the initiative, the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) supported the establishment of a Banana Fibre Unit, Lhuv Craft, in Moya village, Kiphire district. As part of this expansion, over 150 women and youth were trained in banana fibre extraction, complemented by capacity-building sessions on financial literacy, team building, business planning, and soft skills development.

To further enhance the unit’s operational efficiency and sustainability, the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), through its Women Economic Empowerment Programme under the Clean and Green Solar Integration component, supported the installation of a 2 kW solar power system. This intervention has improved productivity while promoting environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient livelihood practices.
