The 2nd Cohort of YouthNet Women Entrepreneurship Fellowship Launched

The 2nd Cohort of YouthNet Women Entrepreneurship Fellowship (YWEF) 2022 was launched by Smt. Keneirienuo K Theunuo, Assistant Director, Department of Industries & Commerce, Government Of Nagaland at YouthNet head Office, Kohima on 6th July 2022.  

YouthNet Founder and Chair, Hekani Jakhalu and Director, Nuneseno Chase also spoke and interacted with the new fellows during the launching program.

Along with the launching program, sessions were held on Design Thinking and Introduction to the Log Book, which were facilitated by Neikepekho Shosahie, Manager, YouthNet Incubation Centre and Veliitalii Puro, Senior Project Associate, YouthNet.

The 2nd Cohort of YWEF consist of 20 women entrepreneurs from Nagaland representing different sectors such as Food Processing, Apparels and Accessories, Animal Husbandry, Home Decors, Fashion and Designing, Indigenous Retail Outlet, Event Management and Hospitality etc.

Some of the activities lined up ahead for the fellows are Business Plan writing, Log Book keeping, Design Thinking, Marketing and Branding, Cash Flow Handholding, Target Setting and Business Plan Review etc.

This program is supported by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland and Startup Nagaland, designed as a means to help our women entrepreneurs with the objectives to change their business dynamics, facilitate change and growth in their businesses while addressing the issues of each entrepreneur individually.
