The Micro Enterprises Promotion Program (MEPP) is a five-year initiative implemented by YouthNet in partnership with SIDBI. The program aims to help people in Nagaland start and grow small businesses by connecting them with banks and other financial institutions for credit support.
About the Program
Through MEPP, YouthNet will promote and support at least 500 micro-enterprises across Nagaland. These enterprises will include businesses in the manufacturing, service, and trading sectors. Each enterprise will be guided to become a formally registered and sustainable business with Udyam registration and other necessary documents.
What the Program Does
Helps entrepreneurs access loans and financial support.
Provides guidance and training to start or expand small businesses.
Encourages registration and use of digital payment systems.
Creates local job opportunities and supports rural livelihoods.
Promotes economic growth in Nagaland’s towns and villages.
Program Reach
MEPP will be implemented across six districts of Nagaland — Mon, Kiphire, Tuensang, Longleng, Noklak, and Shamator — with the goal of grounding 500 enterprises over five years.
Our Goal
To build a strong and self-reliant community of entrepreneurs in Nagaland by helping them start formal, sustainable, and locally rooted businesses.
