In order to address the alarming rate of unemployment in the state, YouthNet has been working in all the 12 districts of Nagaland since 2006, imparting various training programs on skill development, entrepreneurship and women empowerment.
Currently we impart training in retail, hospitality, painting and decorating, motor mechanism, rural tourism, solar panel and solar rooftop and professional beautician courses in various parts of the state with an aim to enable them to become self-directing, positive, productive, responsible and contributing members of society through active participation and involvement.
Mobilization of the students is done in both rural and urban areas, mostly school and college dropouts and unemployed between the age group 18-30. Post-training placement opportunities are provided within and outside the state as well.
Our mission is to always reach out to more people, help more people, and that can be more possible if you all can lend a hand and be part of our campaign. We are now also on Give India, Lets make a change!
