LEADERS CONNECT ANNOUNCES NORTHEAST YOUNG HEROES AWARD 2020. INVITES NOMINATIONS!

Leaders Connect (formerly Young Leaders Connect) is a landmark initiative that provides a common platform for young leaders and achievers from the North-East, launched in 2011 in Kohima. Young Leaders Connect is an annual conclave where young change makers and leaders from diverse fields like business, politics, academia, sports, music and culture come together, put their heads and hearts together to plan where they would like to see India vis-à-vis North East in the future, plan a roadmap, and strategize on interventions at the grassroots and policy level.

Leaders Connect had been organizing the Young Leaders Connect Conclave over the past few years. This year, Leaders Connect is honoring people who in their specific line of work excellently continued to inspire leadership, instill hope and faith for the society amidst the pandemic situation. Leaders Connect is thrilled to announce the award platform “Northeast Young Heroes Awards 2020” powered by Eastmojo, presented by Royal Global University, Guwahati and supported by YouthNet.

The Northeast Young Heroes Awards 2020 will celebrate achievements of individuals from the region striving for excellence in various fields. With the threat of the pandemic still real, the award will be a virtual one. We will involve communities to participate, nominate their heroes and vote for them. This is a first of its kind award where an eminent jury and the people of the North East get to choose the Young Heroes who have made a difference in 2020. The various categories of the awards are: Healthcare, Administration, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Music & Entertainment, Education, Sports, Sustainable Development, and Global Northeast Indian.
