This is a landmark initiative that provides a common platform for young leader achievers from diverse fields like business, politics, academia, sports, music and culture. Young Leaders Connect is an annual conclave where young change makers and leaders share their ideas and experiences in order to visualize where they would like to see North East vis-à-vis India in the future, plan a roadmap, and strategize on interventions at the grassroots and policy level. The conclave will not only bring together young leaders from the Northeast and rest of the country, but will also engage policy makers, strategists, entrepreneurs, professionals, members of academia, and students to join the development discourse.

This year’s theme is ‘Made in Northeast’. The four key sector areas of focus are : 1) Agro-allied and Food Processing 2)Handloom & Handicraft 3), Tourism & Hospitality 4)  Sports & Entertainment.

The conclave will cover panel discussions with the aim to go beyond dialogue, and towards deliverable goals applicable in a national and regional setting.

Apart from the plenary session, the biggest take away of the conclave will be the ‘business to business session’ which will be currated by Ernst and Young India, where NE entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to meet companies and institutions for further collaboration.

As this is one of North East’s biggest conclave of young leaders and achievers in Delhi, it will be attended by captains of industries, policy makers and Chief Ministers of the NE states.
